    Is that the President? Or the Supreme Leader?
    (I can’t remember either name right now.)

    I’m reminded of an old cartoon by the late Bill Mauldin. It showed a group of Russian Students storming the US Embassy in Moscow, back during the Cold War. In the lower, right corner, one of them is pausing to light a cigarette, and a burly policeman is tapping him on the shoulder,

    “Comrade, you are not being spontaneous enough.”

    The Brits closed the Iranian embassy. Prelude to WW III?

    The Iranian version of “The Human Centipede 3”?

    England, Britain, U.K., well so what. The Supreme Leader here obviously is being accurately depicted, so what? Like Koch and Norquist aren’t affiliated with TEA? La Pierre didn’t have anything to do with the Clinton era flap due to legislation to control weapons, nor did he have a hand in all the protests when Obama was elected and everyone had a hard time finding bullets or guns to buy all of a sudden?

    Gee, all the anti-union stuff in the U.S. has nothing to do with folks like AEI, Norquist, or Wall Street puppeteers. The obvious is obvious in protests and outrage around the world, well sometimes not quite so, like WMDs.

    ^ Aside from defending Iran yet again, what are you babbling about? The toon is about Iran, not Norquist, Koch, TEA or Wall Street puppeteers. Stay on topic. (although your comment would go over well in China or Russia. They support Iran also.)

    @HOWGOZIT

    Oh boy, I’m with Howgozit. :-| I’ll be consistent; it’s not an English embassy, nor the embassy of the U.K.,it’s the British embassy.
    @Eryx. Correct, the Scots & Welsh do not have embassies in Iran, and nor do the English.

    @omQ Release the Desaparecidos

    So, omQ R, is this ‘toon about Obama’s slip or about “students” attacking the British embassy?
    Eff knows, folks here don’t care too much about “over there” so why not make a slip up the issue instead.
    @ Simon_jester. Thanks for an historical comparison.

    Yeah, it’s a good thing nobody ever criticized Bush’s slips of the tongue…

    Gray: I for one have repeatedly pointed out that even "W"s slips of the lip, or tongue, were sometimes funny, but not serious errors. It was the things he did in “signing statements”, regulations, and in bombing the WRONG COUNTRIES who never attacked us, as nations, that were terrible offenses against the Constitution, and well, humanity at large. Now that Perry has taken away his record of “most executions Governor”, he’s lost another claim to fame. That isn’t anything to do with his “slips of the tongue”…

    trout comparing Norquist to terroristic Iranian leaders.

    I’ve said from day 1 that trout hates America, and he proves it more and more every day…

    A child never punished for bad behavior becomes a bully, criminal, or worse, like Norquist, or ANY nation where the people let the “children” determine policy based on their childish greed and demand for self-gratification.
