And the Demoncrats are unashamedly the party of far-left nutjobs. An openly “liberal” party. Where’s the “big tent’ in THAT?
Anyway, so what. The whole “moderate” label is a MYTH. It’s like chanting “hope and change”, it means NOTHING.
You cannot get any two voters to agree on what a political “moderate’ is…
According to the liberal media, ANYONE who is pro-life (or, increasingly, anti gay “marriage”) is automatically far right, extreme, etc
I’m not weak-willed enough to let anyone pull my strings like that. The media obviously embraces a culture of death. So it’s no wonder it is ONLY pro-life views that make them all scream and cry like scared little girls…
Again this reiterates my point about the banality of the two party system. It represents everyone and no one at the same time. Let the coalitions decide wethere it be hot or cold, and enough of this lukewarm spitting!
But he also said that the Democratic Party is dominated by the far left, which is profoundly stupid, or at least completely divorced from reality.
We on the real far left would like to see private insurance eliminated and health care as a public service. We also have the radical idea that the USA shouldn’t be in the business of trying to occupy and conquer other countries. Such ideas have been declared off the table by the current Democratic leadership from day one.
I did not say Scott had come to his senses. Just that he had said something for the firs time that was not so far out there it woud make Gangues Kahn go “say what?”
the Church needs to start being the Church again and stop expecting the State to do its work. there are more things the Church gave to the State than the State took from the Church i think.
YES! That is the real solution to all our nation’s problems. But it is a slow process for the Church to remember that Jesus was a carpenter, not a contractor.
Except the Far Right will be more in charge (no more Mr. Nice Guy) since they have taken over the Party after the 2008 defeat because they were the only ones left, after all of the moderates were sweeped out of office.
I’s rough being a conservative. Voters in NY’s 23 district (solidly Republican for over 100 years) showed they would rather vote for a Democrat than a Conservative. Then Grungetta dissed Fox news on Sesame Street. Now even Conservatives are turning on Conservatives.
Priests and Republican congressman from Idaho eaglesofwar? Oh,not your perverts and beastialities, ours. I see, you still think men and women of the GOP are completely sinless and perfect. Is that you Striper, the rant sounds familiar.

The two-party system would work fine if the State would stop usurping the role of the Church and give her back to the people.
Both parties are paralyzed by moral issues.
