Anything in that report about whether the “big Obama contributors” are qualified? Or are you automatically disqualified if you contribute money over a certain amount?
And what, exactly, was Obama’s promise here?

transparency? Hey but he promised he would stop smoking……in the white house…. I guess he is taking a page out of Willy Nelsons book “Safest place I ever smoked was on the white house roof…”

Did Morin bother to comment when Bush sent his contributors and friends out to cushy jobs? Like the guy who was president of the Arabian Horse Association who became the head of FEMA and such a heck of a job?

Does anyone bring to mind that the four-year-term is yet young? That he has a congress and a military and the CIA to contend with? My heart goes out to this president being hit with brickbats from all sides.

Bush didn’t campaign on not hiring friends and lobbyists …

No single person can change the Washington environment overnight. He knew that going in. He has managed to make more positive changes in five months than in any five year period in the last 25. I’m not pleased by some of the “concessions” he’s had to make to keep things from totally falling apart, but both Libs and Cons out there complaining should play in the real world for a while too. Every time I am disappointed, I just reflect on Brownie, Haliburton, KBR, Blackwater, and Lockheed,(plus a few hundred others) and a few less than perfect appointments or actions seem really minor.

And what did you expect Morin?
Is not like there wasn’t enough damaging evidence about his character before he was elected…
And you did vote for him right?

Are you telling me that Republican Governor Huntsman of Utah was a big Obama supporter?
Or was there some other reason he might have gotten the highly visible ambassadorship to China?
