Hellfires off of Predator UAVs come pretty close to knowing the difference. An operator has hi-res eyeball on “item of interest”.Given a fire order he/she pushes the button in Nevada and poof, video game kill, no noise, no living color.

No me, but $7it happens. Worse I read about is ground controller changing batteries mid mission and xmiting GPS of his position instead of intended Target.

Civilians get killed because the homicidal Hamas hides like cowards behind them. Isreal is doing what they can to get the innocents out of harm’s way: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article5416012.ece

DD, I don’t think really any of us posting here don’t support Israel or do think Hamas has anything good going for it. I think, tho’, that most of us would have preferred if Israel had pursued a different route. I worry that what they are doing now will end up hurting Israel more than anyone else.

Hump, me thinks there is more to you than any of will ever know in this forum. If it is of any consolation as to my war experience, biggest discomfort was 3 days holed up in concrete office building on K rations, that and sporatic rockets afterwards. 12 months of boredom interrupted by moments of pucker factor 10²

Old71, it’s all there, you’re in a group that knows the signs. As for the others, to take a little from the yacht salesman … If I have to explain it, then you won’t understand.

oldlegodad71,
On un manned aircraft action in a war zone.
Again you do not have an iota of knowledge of how the system you describe functions.
Incidentally IOTA is almost no knowledge.

I heard on CNN last night that Lebanon fired some rockets into Isreal. Here we go…
