A student of politics and a sharp observer of everyday life, Borgman comments on topics ranging from economic policy and war in Iraq to teenage ennui and suburban sprawl. His cartoons convey opinions that are honestly felt and carefully considered, not inflated with hyperbole meant to shout down the opposition and muddy his message.
