To be more truthful, it’s the NRA which has the Republican party as one of its operative divisions.

Let’s not give the Dems a pass, they have been complicit too. The difference is they seem to have finally seen the light.

The only way to stop the utter insanity is to stop voting for Republicans.

“change the need for Americans to be armed.”

Why? Are the British coming back to conquer us again?

What is the ‘Need’ for more than a shotgun or one long rifle, and maybe a pistol? (All with (say…) a 6 shell max?)

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m damned tired of living in an armed camp.

If tighter legislation is not the answer, its critics need to come up with a better idea fast. These events are escalating in magnitude and frequency. Eventually there will be one so horrific that no amount of NRA lobby bribes will be enough for a congressman to vote against the will of his constituents. It’s only a matter of time. It’s time for responsible gun owners and speak out against the extremists with the semiautomatics.

Evidently, a WHOLE BUNCH OF PEOPLE weren’t taught, as they were growing up, the difference between “Needing” and “Wanting!” The number of Americans that “NEED” any kind of ‘gun’ is vanishingly small in comparison to those who just “WANT” some kind of weapon, “just because…!”

Nothing will happen until the child of an NRA member is killed. ot even shooting a Congressman helped them see the light.

“Arms” includes swords, let ‘em use those. Dani, a few years ago here, the son of an NRA member was killed, out hunting, crossing a fence, gun went off and blew him away, yes, guns DO kill people, the kid wasn’t touching it when it went off.
