    @earthworm

    At some point you are correct but give Asad a clear message about his Chemical weapons, after that yeah let them go at it.

    Why send him a message?
    Are we bullies that have to get in the last word?
    Let them go at it themselves from the git go.

    PAJ: yep, just ask bin Laden (oh yeah, I know, “w” personally led the raid, and cut him down with his brush hook.), or Somali pirates, or GM stockholders, or market folks who’ve seen the DOW at record high levels for the last several months, or people who’ve watch the housing market turn around since the “W” debacle, or, okay, ignore the 100 or so things he’s managed to accomplish in the positive, DESPITE being fought at every turn by Republicans!

    P.S. going after Assad IS the stupidest thing he’s come up with, but chickenhawks support him on it, stupid indeed.

    ^Stop eating off the blacktop! Bush and Cheney are SOCIALISTS?? BTW: Read Bob Mason’s book: “Chickenhawk” for where the term comes from, and an idea of my own experiences in ‘Nam, but slightly after Bob. It was amazing his descriptions of some LZ’s I went into the next year. The exact same places! We had gained NOTHING in a year, and over the next nine, still gained, NOTHING!

    That was the lesson I learned about how little our little “incursions” in foreign lands buys us. Also, btw, I’m anti-war, especially as stupid as all the ones we’ve gotten into since WW II actually, but NOT a “pacifist” if actually attacked, on either a national, or personal level.
