Including the home grown ones. Terrorists, are those that cause terror. Terrorism knows no country, religion.

Get the right people for the right reasons, not for cheap political / PC points!

I agree in principle with what you wrote Scott, but it is not solely Muslims who practice terrorism which I think is what you were alluding to, that it is solely the realm of Muslims. In reality terrorism is used by a widely varied group of people, in all faiths and by those of no faith.
According to Merriam Webster online dictionary the definition of terrorism is “Systematic use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective.”
According to Terrorism is defined in the United States Law Code as:
“(2) the term “terrorism” means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents;”
So by those definitions you could claim that the Westboro Baptist Church is a terrorist organization. They may not use physical violence but they are waging attacks on vulnerable noncomabatants in an effort to achieve a politically motivated desire. So they are not Muslim, but they are employing terrorist activities to try and intimidate.
So before you go off on another mindless ideological rant, please exercise some real christian values, have tolerance, and more importantly THINK. I know that’s hard for you kool aid swilling propaganda consumers but it is possible. I’ve seen you do it.

Terrorism is what bullies do when they grow up. Once we get a handle on bullying, we will understand more about the “mindset” of the terrorist.

    Ima: Timothy McVeigh.

Also, it’s tiresome the folks shaking in their boots in fear of “terrorism” who don’t realize our gun violence is the major cause, so those "courageous Americans’ have to buy MORE guns, and condemn the government. That is the real issue today in America.

“the ones that assimilate and become Americans, yes. Not illegals and hyphenated-Americans, they are something else first.”

my cousin, a 5th generation American (and whose great grandparents immigrated legally) has a “hyphenated-American” last name. In fact her father spied on the Nazi’s during world war 2, at great personal risk to himself and his family.

perhaps you should rethink your hatespeech

said to @olfart, who had stated: “A “terrorist” is the other side’s “freedom fighter”,
    - "Yes, it does take courage to get off the fence and pick a side.

Timothy McVeigh picked a side. Is he your freedom fighter and was he courageous?
