He’s named “Rubio” because he’s Hispanic, which is what you wanted: You’re own pet Latino to court votes without actually addressing Latino issues.
You know, if you had half the education you deny our kids, you’d have learned what “wherefore” means.

This ’toon has even less merit than the ones that were published yesterday. These guys need to get off of their lazy rear ends, read news of significance, then do a cartoon.

While I feel sorry for Mr. Rubio, he has potential, I REALLY liked your comment Radish. Thanks for the laugh.
I wasn’t impressed by anything I heard from anyone that night. I lost interest in Tea Party speaker(Orthodox Republican) Rand Paul months ago when he said a businessman should have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason – race, religion, etc.
Doesn’t matter he said it to a liberal interviewer, the fact is he says, in effect, a Muslim should be able to not sell water to a thirsty Christian, and a black motel owner can refuse to rent a room to a tired white traveler. He actually said the gov’t shouldn’t have the right to tell businessmen with whom they should do business. People who would do such things, he said, are despicable and he wouldn’t support them, but the gov’t doesn’t have the right to tell people to whom they must do business. The republicans who have been passing legislation limiting access to voters and the attempts at redmapping show he belongs to a party willing to limit access to our ability to vote as well as to buy services. The Dems have done lots of gerrymandering in the past, but last year’s Repubs took it to a new level. Party first. Country second.
The citizens of the UNITED States deserve better.
Respecfully,
C.

I am at a loss as to why liberals consider a conservative Latino as automatically a sycophant and shill if a Republican, but a liberal Latino is axiomatically a leader and archetype if a Democrat. Either way they are not appointed by a party but elected by a constituency and become a little bit of both (just like any person of whatever persuasion elected to office).

is it that he was telling the facts and you libs can’t argue with them that you pick on his drinking water. Maybe if obama would have to speak without all those stupid people clapping and standing up he would have to have some water. I figure that they were hoping that if they clapped loud enough and pretended to be leaving he would shut up and they would not have to listen to the rest of the bs
skipcarlsen said, 3 months ago
Well if you had to sit and listen to yet another of Obama’s BS speals you’d want a drink, too!

Rebuttal? Is that what anyone thought it was? That was no rebuttal. That was Marco’s stump speech which he will be using over and over again during his 2016 Presidential run.

I heard the analysis yesterday that a man would simply turn and pick up the water bottle. Imagine if Chris Cristie was thirsty, he wouldn’t have to sneak over and pick up the bottle, he might even turn his back. Rubio is done, will be a senator and nothing more.

With all of the things that politicians have done or reputed to have done that have been elected President, do you really, really believe that taking a drink of water on television has ruined his political career?

I have to assume the media really feels threatened by Rubio. They are trying so hard to make him look bad over his “water dip.” Reminds me a lot of the “conservative” media and their continual bashing of Obama.

I love it Wolf Blitzer asks if Rubio’s career is over because of a sip of water. Rubio is a danger to the democrats for every reason he stated in the official Presidential rebuttal. The thing I can’t believe is that Van Jones, is the only one on the left who will say so, I hate to admit it I felt my respect for him go up a bit.
