You are too old to qualify for a transplant,, besides the Government controled Health care funds are better spent on the young, so try to keep the rust to a minimum…

What’s bad is you can’t have your own insurance and decide what’s right for you yourself.
What in the law makes this so? Please be specific.

I am so sick and tired of the mindless repetition of this extremely misleading story. Anyone who repeats this story has no credibility. Scott, you’re just completely deluded. Find out the truth before you post this kind of nonsense. Enough. There is a real debate worth having about how health insurance should be provided, and though I like the Canadian system, I understand that some of the European systems are very good as well. But spreading falsehoods does not contribute to the debate.

Unfortunately your facts aren’t totally correct. Yes they got “preference” (like Steve Jobs) but many other "regular people got transplants. Oh and BTW, Obama said rationing and death panels aren’t going to happen. That’s a conservative lie!!! God help us paying for all this…

Don’t worry, Mickey. Unlike the wars, Medicare Part D, and the Paul Ryan / Mitt Romney budget; Obamacare is paid for. According to the CBO, if the Republicans want to repeal it, they’ll have to come up with almost $230 billion dollars to fill the fiscal hole they’ll create.

When the government can tell you what to buy and what is good and bad for you, you believe freedom is not damaged.

Everyone this is where the left and the right differ. The left wants freedom from the troubles of the worl,d we on the right want’s freedom to live our lives without being told what to think. Heavy will laugh at what I say but it is true. His need to be free from want (have you ever met someone who was ever free from want) is more important then personal freedoms.

“we on the right want’s freedom to live our lives without being told what to think”
Unless your gay, a muslim, a woman, ect.

What would you say if I told you there was a mandate going back to the time of the founding fathers? Would you believe the founders were against freedom?

BTW, how are you being told what to think?

That was from George Washington telling every able body man to have a weapon in his home and ammunition. It was neither health care and yes it now is defined as a tax but it was for the protection of the country the governments first duty.

Sorry Heavy you can you tell me where this will end, what to drink what to do what?

To answer your question if I don’t want insurance I am punished. End of story that sounds like being told what to think to me.

I work 4 jobs right now, and yet I don’t earn enough to pay the annual fine, let alone pay for health insurance.

The way I see it, I’ve got 18 months to either get rich or face a lifetime in jail for “non-payment of taxes”.
