So what is the CBO smoking? Oh, yeah, right, republican weed from fantasy land.

@Grainbelt
Isn’t congress mostly comprised of republicans? Their goal is to oust President Obama from the White House. They have no qualms about pushing the rest of us over a cliff.

Why is it you people always make laws that will cause chaos and destruction if not counter measured by other laws? The whole of Congress seems to work like a suicide-pact! Get real, people. Make good laws and then KEEP THEM! No automatic expiration of anything. If a law no longer fits the environment then CHANGE IT. This is how it’s done all over the world, except for your little house of smoke and mirrors…
And by the way: the sheer amount of laws, bylaws and case law on your books is stifling the economy and the progress of society. Take a huge wood-chopper to them! Think about that before your next rant about lawyers: they wouldn’t be so powerful and expensive if you had a clear judicial structure!

Raise taxes and people won’t risk what is left on crating jobs and producing. But that is the goal of liberals, become a 100% socialist society where everyone works for the government. Less tax money coming in by raising taxes is not a concept dtrout can understand (just like basic math but he’s the graduate of a public school).

They aren’t creating job anyway. The rich rich are sitting on the money.

Uncertainty is what keeps CEO’s from hiring. No president before Obama has created more uncertainty than he has. Regulations, Taxes, Health Care, Bogus reporting numbers on and on and on…….

“Holbert’s reading of the CBO report is interpreted through conservative bias. In any case the report analysis is no more valid than any editorial response from a newspaper, since the CBO report is basing it’s conclusions on data from the National Bureau of Economic Research and not including raw data from the GAO”
And you know this how please.

It’s true. If I don’t get my huge tax cuts next year, I’ll pout, move all my money to Brazil, and never create another American job.

Ima: from your statement, yes our problem IS “American industry” CRATING jobs, and sending them overseas, to avoid taxes, and paying fair wages here at home, to increase profit for the 1%, who’ve re-written tax law to avoid paying ANY taxes.

As you know, or should, the Congressional Budget Office is APOLITICAL which quite simply means it isn’t biased by any party affiliation, therefore we’d be wise to heed their warning. As for weed; by his own admission, Obama is the only one I know of whose done drugs.
