    Mass shootings haven’t increased in the past 30 years.

    @ConserveGov

    lied: “Mass shootings haven’t increased in the past 30 years.”

    What are you, an NRA shill?

    Note, the ‘toon didn’t mention “mass” shootings.
    But here’s a list of school shootings in the USA - click here for Wiki entry on the subject.

    The latest one, at least reported on our news, in Roswell, Arizona.

    So a few mass shootings per year is OK?

    It’s self-defense only if the popcorn has salt and butter. You know, a salt and buttery.

    “A salt and buttery”
    .
    That needs to be written into regulation.

    The “shooting” in Roswell may not count as part of the national statistics as it involved only extraterrestrials! Apparently, two ETs couldn’t find their way home and shot each other.

    that’s Roswell New Mexico…When I was a kid in Roswell, we kids used to walk downtown tothe Saturday Matanee, and walk home after dark…a friend from there told me the other day that a cop toold her that if she was going to live in Roswell nowadays, she should purchase a gun. Sad commentary, huh?

    Ah, thanks, sorry about mistaking your hometown’s state! :p

    I think I read somewhere in the article Roswell has 50 000 people; that’s roughly the same as my hometown in my day. We had Greys wandering about, too. …from the heavy pollution. It was a steel-mill town.
    Sorry to hear your hometown’s taken a turn for the worse.

    I know it’s corny, but it just popped into my head. There’s the kernel of a good joke there.

    I actually sort of feel a little bad to be joking about this incident, which I think is really terrible.

    Yet another victory for the gun violence advocates.

    I know what you mean. That left a bitter taste in my mouth as well.

    What are you, an illiterate kid?
    I stated a FACT and you didn’t like it so you name call and change the subject. Ha!

    @ConserveGov

    You call me illiterate when the cartoon has its subject shootings within schools and you change the subject by stating (erroneously) mass shootings haven’t increased in the past 30 years.”

    I brought you back to the subject by listing a comprehensive list of school shootings and you decided I was illiterate? I conclude you haven’t gone through that list which is why you cling to your untruthful statement as …well, as any NRA shill would.
