Obama killing off the way we pay for health care in order to bring about single government controlled payer is something to scream about!

Is that the new empty partisan talking point? Please explain what it means, if it actually means anything.

Before the ACA, I paid for health care via my employer subsidized health insurance. After the ACA, I still pay for my health care via my employer subsidized health insurance policy. If we go to a single payer system, I’d be paying for health care via government offered health insurance.

But Obama said that 85% liked what they had, they could keep it. So why is Obamacare bankrupting people and soon companies to the tune of 100 million people in order to “insure” 15% that did not like what they had. Good that you got something out of it but Obama knew that in order for this to work millions had to lose what they had. but that would not make a good bumper sticker before an elections. So LIE LIE LIE! just like this strip.

But it is the flees that will flee the dead thing that will bite you and cause your death. Kind of like Obamacare. Obamacare is killing the way we pay for health care, The flees are escaping in unintended consequences. Obamacare is the biggest government sponsored job killer the USA has ever seen.

To get an idea of what the ACA is about, http://www.thehealthsherpa.com/ provides some numbers. Not enough numbers, but some.

It gives the monthly premiums for ACA plans in your Zip, but to find out the deductibles and co-pays and providers, you have to call the 800 number for the plans you think you might choose.

Since we are #1 in costs of healthcare, 50% higher than #2, and only #28 in quality (without even covering everyone yet!), I’d say screams of joy are definitely called for if we can change that.
Too bad we don’t have single payer, which would probably cut our costs by a quarter or more overnight. Here’s what Physicians for a National Health Program say:

I have a hard time believing that the strategy all along was to make health care so difficult to obtain/administer that everyone would eventually see that Single Payer is the only way to go.

I don’t care. Single payer is the way to go. I cannot wait for the day that the insurance companies realize that they are no longer the 600-pound gorilla. Once in the system (which I admit is hard to accomplish), Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE allow me to practice, diagnose, and treat, just like in the movies. Insurance companies seem to be interested only in micro-managing my decisions, and grabbing more and more of what I earn so they can push more paper.

Insurance companies are the problem, not the solution, and that fact summarizes why, no matter the intent, Obamacare must fail. If we force people to provide MORE business to insurance companies, they will certainly not mend their toxic practices, and will indeed be emboldened to make the maze they have created even more complicated.

Heard an interview with Cheney yesterday in which he says the American healthcare system is the best and the envy of the world. Is he completely out of touch or just dillusional? Or does he think its okay under the present system for 44,000 to die of treatable conditions and 100,000 medical bankruptcies every year?

@Gypsy8 44,000 to die of treatable conditions and 100,000 medical bankruptcies every year?"

In order for Obamacare to be solvent you need 7 million to sign up with 2.7 million being young and healthy. How then is it keeping 44,000 alive when only 50,000 have signed up when the prediction was 500,000 signed up by the end of Oct. How does that work when you can not even get cancer treatment? http://nypost.com/2013/11/12/death-by-obamacare-reform-reams-cancer-patients/

@Gypsy8 100,000 medical bankruptcies every year?"

and that justifies a campaign lie of you can keep it? 100 MILLION will lose the health care they had and could afford! What part of that do you not understand!
