This ‘toon suggests all lawmakers are equally responsible for the problems in DC. Anyone who’s NOT attuned to talk radio knows that isn’t true. One political party is attempting to force its will onto and over our traditional Constitutional processes. That party is the RepubliCons, Mr. Stahler, and it represents 20% of the electorate. How’s about you call a spade a spade? Is someone running to the ‘right’ of you in the office primaries?

I see the cartoon’s meaning differently. There are do-nothings on both sides of the aisle who are there just to be there. They need to be tossed into the dust bin just as much as the extremists and exceptionalists.

The Tea Party says they are fighting against the Obamacare act that will add a full 1/6 of the entire US GDP to the government spending (already about 1/5), increasing the size of the government to more than 1/3 of US GDP, and all to fund death panels. If any of this had the slenderest shred of truth, I’d say it’s great that the US Founders came up with a complicated legislative process that allows so many ways to stop a bad bill, but, of course, the Tea Party version of the ACA has not the remotest resemblance to reality.

Meanwhile, the advocates of the ACA keep saying it will finally provide affordable care to all Americans, something the US desperately needs, and a bunch of fanatic idiots are determined to make sure that all Americans must continue to have only Biblical rather than 21st century medical care. Closer to the truth. And closer is good enough. If we were playing horseshoes.

I hear that Iraq is trying to restore its healthcare system that was better under Saddam Hussein. The US lied war, I mean US led war was devastating and many hospitals were looted.

Well stated. Should be required reading.

The only problem with your posts is that your satire is so well-written that we sometimes have to puzzle whether your post is real or satire. This is one of your best.
