Always glad to share a laugh with you, ConGov!
I almost spit out my coffee when that cartoon loaded. Very appropriate cartoon.
When I was a kid in the 60’s, one of the insults hurled around the elementary school was, “You’re just a stupid weiner!”
And here we have another one. I’m surprised his wife didn’t try to talk him out of running.
    @ Gore Bane
Glad to have a chance to agree with you as well GB. Very well said.
    Oh, NYC, why….why?

The answer is because none of the other “clean” candidates tweeted their junk to someone else. A clean candidate is a boring candidate and won’t the 6 o’clock news.

Weiner is a (expletive), but anyone who votes for him is an even bigger one."

If that’s the case then what does that say about Mark Sanford voters?

" if there are so many good choices available, why don’t the political party’s advance and promote them.?"

What it looks like to me is that the parties won’t nominate anyone who won’t push the party line, regardless of what the constituents want.

What I think is that we need serious reform of the nomination procedures. As long as we elect their nominees, we’ll get no representation. I’m pretty sure that’s why the people have been dead in the water for the last thirty years or so. It’s become a game we are not welcome in as participants.
