    I like a divided Congress. The sides should keep each other from doing stupid things. What we have had in recent years are Congresses that pass really ill-considered things or ones that block what should be well considered. A divided Congress does not mean that the members can’t sit down and work out their differences.

    Republicans remind me of road workers, they put up the closed signs but don’t do any work toward repairs.

    The only way we can have cooperation between parties is when there is a catastrophic event and even then there is that possibility that someone might anger one of his big contributors and put a block on it. The big money HAS TO GO!

    There should be no catastrophe that should require man to unite. There should be reason not dogma.
