So, all the gun laws we now have are insensible? What in creation has congress been doing for 200+years? Obama has been in office 4 years now, why does it take something like this to make him act sensibly? Never waste a crisis. The power grab is on.
There will be a consenus on regulation of semi-automatic weapons and magazine capacities, but it will not come easy. The NRA and their supporters will forget their pledge to work for gun reform.
They still haven’t pledged to work for gun reform. The NRA is much more about marketing military grade weapons for the manufacturers than it is about hunting.
You are misinformed. Reagan did not force people out of mental institutions. It’s illegal to hold people against their will just because they have a mental illness. They have a choice. They prefer homelessness to living in a mental facility.
