So True. I saw no one yesterday evening. Eight inches of snow with rain put a damper on one of my favorite nights. WV got clobbered by the snow. I hear up to four feet in places and I saw a pic of a former resident standing waist deep in snow in front of his home.

What an entitlement society! Strangers demanding candy just because they came to the door; now they think they can ask for batteries…..when did Obama come up with the idea for Halloween? Just like a Democrat, to ask society to give up their hard-earned sweets because those kids are too lazy to get a job. Romney will get rid of Halloween, and not a minute too soon.

….and you’re wrong. Go to your favorite search engine and look up “All Hallow’s Eve”, which was later shortened to “Hallow’een”. Thank the Druids for bringing this holiday to America.
.
And if I was in their situation, I’d ask for flameless candles. Less likely to cause fire that way.

Sure glad I don’t live in West Virginia any more.
I mean, it’s 27 below with three feet of snow in northwest Canada just now, but at least people know how to deal with it.
