Actually, understood where Mitt intended to go with that comment, didn’t think it was ALL that bad, it was everything else he said, that was as bad, or worse.
One has to wonder about why he felt that that lie would not be discovered. Both he and his opponent for governor received the same set of resumes. He just had to reflexively lie that he solicited them.
I’m still waiting for specifics from Romney. Like Obama asked him in the debate, “You’ve been a professional investor your whole life. If I came to you with a $7-8T proposal, but didn’t say how I was going to use it, would you invest in it?” - I plan on voting for Jill Stein…I simply can’t trust Mitt on ANYTHING, since he either changes his stances on a whim or only says what will happen (or he hopes will happen), not how he’s going to make it happen.
Its not about binders of women’s resumes that’s relevant, its that he did not ask for the binders, they were given to him. Once again Mitt proves he cannot be trusted.
I do believe part of the problem was that he lied (big surprise) about requesting information on possible candidates – he didn’t; they were offered to both candidates before the election. then, he casually forgot to mention that by the time he left office, the total in his ‘hired binder’ was far less than even his predecessor had hired. romney’s implication during that little nugget was that he was careful to include women when the opposite was true. but, then… that’s kinda what he does about most topics all along, isn’t it.
b/t/w, i’d rather have 1 enthusiastic, energetic, speaking-his-mind biden than 100 etch-a-sketch romneys. at least you know where biden stands. even YOU can’t really figure out where romney stands, i’ll bet. he’s changed stances so often, the republican party must have whiplash about now.
ah, ansonia, that last line sound bite was ‘bush lied, people died’. obama got out in front of the speeding recession train, slowed it, then stopped it and the economy turned around. i’m a headhunter and i can tell you the job market is remarkably increasing despite the logjams thrown in obama’s way by the repubs in their effort to snatch back total power. i have never seen a party willing to destroy the country to get rid of one person like the repubs tried to do to get rid of obama. shame on you. even you will win when obama finishes the task he began. that’s not true if romney is elected.

Trying to make this out as a lie and so Romney can’t be trusted is very lame in light of the numerous lies Obama told in the debate.
