I had a pollster come to my door the other day. When he asked who I supported in the various races and the issues I thought were most important, I pointed to the yard signs he walked past to get to my door. I then sent him on his not so merry way.

He’ll keep coming back until you give him the answers he’s been paid to get.
Maybe the best way to get the economy moving is for all of us to become pollsters? That way we can ALL tell politicians what it is (we say) everyone thinks!

That or maybe she’ll evolve as Obama did in order to try and get the gay vote. He had them anyway except maybe for us log cabin Republicans. Come both sides change to meet the need. People need to use new responses. Let’s keep to relevancy. Polls do not really tell us much any more.

If the polls had showed Romney in the lead the Republicans would have said they were the best thing since sliced bread. Give me a break!!!!

A log cabin republican eh? So tell me what is like to vote for people who hate and revile you? Make speeches against you and try and create laws that make you a lower class of citizen?

My friend in Colorado is now using the answering machine to screen calls, because as a “swing state”, being inundated by robocalls.Thankfully, we have vote by mail, no registration, fraud, or other such “problems”.

romoney sends at least one over-sized novelty postcard every day the mail is delivered. Sometimes two or three. It makes me happy romoney is wasting money. I’ll never vote for another republican.

I can’t speak for Neuturn, but a friend of mine is voting against Obama, despite her committed relationship to a very cool lady, because she doesn’t think the republicans will ever cooperate with Obama for reasons I’d rather not go into here. She hopes moderate Mitt from Mass will appear after the elections and that republicans will slowly come to accept choices like hers and the Log Cabin Republicans. Her g/f is still voting for Obama tho, so they’ll just cancel each other out.
Dennis Miller once said, “There is so much hate in the world I will never stand in the way of two loving committed people….but bisexuals are just greedy.”
    Respectfully-even to the bisexuals—

Well, it is like vile things said about my beliefs as a Republican by the Democrats and not wanting to take care of financial concerns. As they are the same vile things you say are coming from my own party. It is even harder being in a Democratic state where I am afraid to state my position because of what may be said. I guess I don’t see how the Republicans are trying to make me a lower class citizen as you state. Each state can pretty much make their own laws if the Federal government would get out of the way. I am fine with the way they treat me as I have grown up through some of the hardest times in the 70’s where I was not accepted by the Democrats at that time either. You cannot place all people in the same category because of a few. I even believe in the God they speak of but do not believe he disapproves of the way I have turned out. Times have come where people including most Republicans do not care who you are as long as you do not try and force your ways on them. I agree that we should give befenfits equal to marriage to partnerships, but it does not have to be called a marriage in my opinion. I also believe that over time if we would ask for laws instead of cetificates we would get them. I am registered in a domestic partnership, as my partner needed healthcare due to an aneurysm and I needed to be able to make the decisions. I was able to get that without the marriage certificate. I can claim him on my state income taxes. Now if the Federal government would do their job. I am more concerned about economics instead of entitlements and follow the belief that we create our own destiny, if we put out an effort we can succeed. I believe that each individual helps those around them in order to not need hand outs from the government. If all I had to worry about was whether my party liked what I did in my personal life then I might not be a Republican. I would rather have a third party, but the way things are they can not get a foot hold because of the two party system.
