Yep. The rich people funding tea party groups finally learned that you can’t win with “crazy,” and that a Republican party that is constitutionally incapable of governing is actually not that good for the economy. Poor Missouri just got it’s debt downgraded for right-wing fiscal ineptitude, because there are no people left in government who actually care about numbers.

It is time the party squeezed out the poison and vitriol from these bags, and restored some true reason in their “arguments”.

btw: actually, over 80% of Americans say it’s time to end the BS of these constant “investigations”, of what’s already known.

Though I do not think the “Tea Party” could win anything regardless, your suggestion is not viable. The two parties have rigged the system so that a realistic third party is not possible, right, left, or center it does not matter. The system was designed for two parties from the start, re: Federalist and Anti-Federalist (though they did not so define themselves) and the parties in power have further manipulated the system to make it all but impossible for a third party to come into being as long as either of the two existing parties has even a modicum of support.

72%, eh? Pulled that factoid from the same dark, moist place Bill-O, Hannity, Beck (et al) does?
Maybe it’s 72% of the folks who push for laws against the United Nations agenda 21? ’cause, you know, the U.N is coming to invade the U.S. and take away our guns…

I am really getting worried that the Tea Party is going so far off the deep edge into insanity that even Faux news isn’t going to keep 1/3 of the Republican party drinking the kool aid. Limbaugh’s ratings are at the lowest point ever, and he can’t keep sponsors. If people are actually beginning to realize that there is a real world outside of the Faux bubble, it could reunite the Republican party behind a person who isn’t certifiable. Being a Democrat, I like the people in the Faux bubble. If a moderate can’t get the crazy vote, the Democrats win.
