C’mon! That money is needed to give subsidies to Archer Daniels Midland and the other family farmers.

In the afterlife, when Cheney goes where he deserves to be, the only really suitable spot for him will be as Satan’s lawyer.
    .
How many hearts will he wear out before he finally goes? In some remake of “It’s a Wonderful Life” he should play the part of Mr. Potter.
    .
There are few politicians I dislike as much as Cheney. And I’m sorry to see his daughter, Liz, also seems to have his mean genes.

The Dick has a lot of gall to complain about welfare cheats taking money from deserving military families. He as had a life time feeding at he government trough, all the while trying to cut away any remains of a safety net for any one else. Let’s not forget how he gamed the system (as did many) to avoid his serving when the chance was offered.

A prime example of why we the people should not belong to the “party” so we can objectively view the actions of individual politicians, compare them to the words spewed forth during the campaign and rid ourselves of the liars every cycle regardless of party.

    term limits

    stand alone bills

no lobbyists other than private citizens

    Welcome to reality

A nice start Bruce. Let’s add a few more to the list…

    Secure the borders

Implement a flat tax or national sales tax

    Enforce constitutional limits on govt.

When all those are in place I have more suggestions.

CCNJ’s say the sky is falling: Article I, Section 7: " All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives…", the president has no control other than the veto after it passes both houses. Incidentally, what does CCNJ mean, Conservatives Control New Jersey?

Didn’t Cheny leave Haliburton about 15 years ago?I don’t know anyone that has any say so over their former employers. The same goes for Romney and Bain Capital.A lot of Obamas staff had money in Bain till the press found out.Even though Romney left there a decade before.

No links .Do your own home work .Don’t believe what the LWNJ news nerds spew forth for the uninformed and too lazy to check out their “news” type people.
You won’t get much from Huffpo and MSNBC.

Liberals are always accused of hating the military. As a “liberal”, disabled vet, with a son now a disabled retired vet, I would not only disagree, but point out that no politician in elected office has hated our troops more than Cheney. Dick has all those body bags to prove his love for them, if he can’t kill ‘em on a battlefield they shouldn’t be on, he’ll starve ‘em out at home, then replace them ALL with robots, ’cause Rummy said it could be done, and Rummy’s my sugar daddy.

    “Daily Show video from 2/26”

    That was awesome.
It shows how the GOP has taken hypocrisy to a whole other level.

    .
Thank you, sir, and your son, for your service and sacrifice. I, too, am a combat veteran (fortunately not disabled) and still serve the Marines at Camp Pendleton in a position that matters for them. I used to be a Republican until I knew better. They are good about protecting their business companies, and quick to jump into war – without realizing the very long term obligations those orders require.
    .
We get our cars washed, join the raffles, donate food and money, volunteer time… and the (expletive) Republicans don’t (expletive) care – unless the cameras are on them.
    .
The conservative posters in these forums have no idea of the harm their policies have caused.
