Power gains influence, influence procures money, money buys power.
    And ever the wheel turns….

That was a really funny cartoon, and I do appreciate the pure art with which Danziger makes up his Editorial cartoons (even when I do not always agree with his viewpoints)!

Well, at least the JP Morgan execs aren’t a bunch of Catholic pediphiles… Give them a little credit!

Wasn’t that the exact same reason Cheney the ChickenHawk became CEO of Haliburton?

A fine old pragmatic banking tradition continues. Was it from the novel 1919, by John Dos Passos? —
    .
“Wars and panics on the stock exchange, / machine gun fire and arson, / bankruptcies, war loans, / starvation, lice, cholera and typhus: good growing weather for the House of Morgan.”
    .
The U.S.A. Trilogy is still worth reading: The 42nd Parallel (1930); 1919, (1932); and The Big Money (1936).

Gee, I dunno… which is worse, a vampire bat flitting across the moon or a nuclear strike wiping out a city? It’s a matter of degree – and J.P. Morgan will sell out any and everything, including their country, for the price of a BJ.
