Finally a Federal Judge decides in favor of liberties.

Mr. Bloomberg will have to come up with some other way to harass ordinary citizens.

Perfect. You just admitted that you see a thug whenever you see a black kid in a hoodie.

Looks like America is spliting into two camps: one wearing hoodies the other wearing gun belts with loaded pistols. This is so sad.

if the court would have allowed it Trevon’s criminal records would have been used to show him a thug.

I stand by what I said. Zipi made the same connection the idiot cartoon cops are making: black kid in hoodie = thug. That these cartoon cops are PROFILING is the point of the cartoon; i.e., if you’re black in a hoodie, you must be up to no good. What the cartoonist is saying is that if you broaden your profiling to include rich white men also minding their own business, then you must be up to something. Of course, in REAL life, that won’t happen because in REAL life they’re rich and white, and the police in REAL life are there to protect the rich white people from the innocent-but-potentially-dangerous black kids in hoodies. Your pal Zipi did exactly what NY cops do – presume that black kids in hoodies are thugs, as Zipi himself says.

Kind of a vicious circle. The cops stop and frisk a Black guy because he is acting nervous around them. Since he knows that they are very likely to stop and frisk him, he is understandably nervous. Since being nervous isn’t as easy to stop as failure to consider it suspicious, I recommend that the cops stop first.
