The sad news is that most of us wear foreign made underwear…and the main reason is because none of us really want to work in an underwear manufacturing plant. I’d like to see our country force China to quit pegging their currency. Oopsbama had 4 years to do something, he didn’t. Let’s see President Romney get the job done.

If it is the same Justice department that investigated the Clintons, they won’t find a thing. Of course a Justice Department can’t decide if Fast & Furious is wrong probably is biased, so anything can happen, so keep dreaming up make believe stories that won’t be able to overcome the major defeat that is coming your way, Oopsbama supporter.

Thats really a sad excuse for an insult to his name, and you get to call him president once / if he gets elected.

Mitt Romney: “Have you looked at your pension?”

What an insult to all the hardworking Americans who will never see a pension and to all the seniors who lost theirs in the Wall Street debacle.

Who do I complain to about the cartoon expressing religious bigotry?
    []
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints – better known as the Mormons – uses a lay ministry, meaning that the clergy is pulled from the body of believers.
    []
The temple garments thus serve the same purpose as the priestly vestments in other denominations.
    []
For someone to mock the garments shows that they’re just going for shock value and religious bigotry.

Mitt has promised to get tough on China just as soon as he sells his interests there.

Those who lost there jobs to China can’t afford American prices. Double jeopardy!

Big Republican lie. You’re excusing Mitt’s outsourcing. Every time a plant or factory opens in the USA, job applicants queue for a mile down the road. Every time.

Oh, Puh LEEZE! Mitt is the majority stockholder in a company that’s moving an entire American factory ( And the jobs ) to China even as we speak.

And you say THIS is the guy who’s gonna get tough on the Chinese?

    Yeah, riiiiiight.

How is the U.S. supposed to compete with China? Have you seen the pictures of the Foxconn dorms? These people work 10, 12 hour shifts for pennies! And if they complain there are ten other to take their job! Is that the vision for America? Roaming wage slaves and rich robber-barons? I say No! I say America needs to do one of two things: a) close the borders or b) concentrate on high-value export goods.

    -

Plan A has the disadvantage that the U.S. has become dependent on imports, and not just oil. Plan B would put you strait up against the likes of Germany who went there years ago and dominate these markets worldwide (the Chinese buy Audi’s like crazy from the money YOU leave at Walmart! Ford? Not so much…). Tricky situation, and whoever can solve it deserves some kind of price.

    @MortyForTyrant

    Plan B requires:
    []
    1. A highly educated populace, particularly in the skilled trades and in the sciences (which is not happening in too many cities).
    2. A degree of co-operation between labor, government, and management that’s almost unheard of in this day and age.
    3. Actual improvements to infrastructure, such as more & better roads and rail networks.
    []
Until we start making some headway on these issues, direct competition against places like Japan and Germany is just going to be a pipe dream.
