   What about the warS Obama got the US into without one vote in Congress? Libya…..now Jordan at the Syrian border…sending US weapons to “rebels” in Syria…which includes more and more Jihadists moving in, as they did in Iraq after Saddam was arrested.

   and Bush got the US Congress’ vote for Afghanistan and Iraq; plus 30 allies for Iraq.

    I found this toon painful to read. Is there ANY witness to verify the sons said anything as depicted here?
    Any person who was able to avoid going to Vietnam legally should have, especially after 1969. Any person using legal means to avoid going should not have supported the war and should have gone out of their way to support the troops who were too often verbally abused for following their legal obligations under laws passed by men sitting in comfortable chairs under the capital dome.
    I had three relatives who went to Vietnam and only one came back with his mind and body intact. I’ve known many people who came back, and too many of them never fully left.
    This cartoon, if it is not depicting actual actions AND comments, is unethical Mr. Danziger. But if it is accurate, then it doesn’t go far enough to create the kind of outrage such hypocrisy would deserve.
    One question- How does a pacifist whose religion forbids being involved in war justify being CnC and sending non moslem sons and daughters into harms way? Will Romney, like Carter, declare he will pray about it till the conflict is resolved?
