Apparently you approve of the ruling that money is free speech and corporations are people. Now we’re stuck with elections in which corporate robber barons are free to spend untold billions TO LIE about President Obama, to spread these lies on radio and television, to misinform the public to the degree that they will vote against their own self interest to insure that these fascists get even richer while hundreds of thousands of hard working families are thrown out on the streets because they can’t afford to pay the banks that are stealing all the money anyway. Very profound thinking on your part (not); you reveal yourself as a shallow, self centered ignoramus which is where Fox and Koch brothers want us all to be. Soros, by the way, spends money to support the idea that people like him SHOULD HAVE TO PAY MORE. And that is the way intelligent people act, FOR THE BENEFIT OF EVERYONE not just their mean spirited little selves.

    I like the way you think.
    I can’t help but wonder: Why does the money make a difference? Sure, it buy ads and tells lies – but the sad part (the really relevant part) is that the majority of U.S. voters are so ignorant that they buy into the crap that is printed, aired on radio and televised. People who actually inform themselves won’t care how much money is spent, when they arm themselves with facts!
    So, what is the solution? Education! But as long as folks are willing to sit in front of the TV and watch BS “entertainment” that lulls them into a stupor – and “buy” the lies that the monied elite push at them – there can’t be much hope for the United States.
