I don’t know if you ARE fighting for a Leader who stole an election…

I’m not entirely sure what you’re fighting for>

But I admire that you went there to fight (when we were fighting against the forces that attacked us). I think you deserve to have a true objective and I think you ought to get the firspower required to achieve that objective.

RV, I agree, I hope the mission is re-evaluated and re-stated because now it’s getting list in the charges and countercharges and we’ve seen this play before.

    Humphs, geat toon isn’t it?

    Great!!!

Why do we let our leaders lead us too war so easily.

Remember our men and women are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan so we can eat “freedom fries” instead of those anti-American FRENCH fries.

Truer words were never spoken. Although Karzai very probably would have won the election without the corruption, it just makes the credibility harder to maintain.

If these are not U.S. troops, why do they have U.S. on their helmets? If they are U.S. troops they are there because Bush sent them and Obama has not chosen to remove them.
What “leader” are we speaking about? Adolph Hitler? He certainly “stole” a country, if not an election.

Straight shooters! Danzinger and our troops! Hoorah! Ransom, the leader who was questionably elected was the Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai. He was seen to have seriously tampered with the recent elections. He is from an ethnic minority in the country and the Pashtuns don’t support him. It reflects poorly on the U.S.A. because we support his regime. The stolen elections are not connected to Bush or Obama. In the Afghanistan population they would feel we undermined true democracy if we continue to support someone who rigged the election. Simple. We loose their hearts and minds. See Deadheadzan,s comment above and google Karzai for recent articles on the subject.

With all the voter fraud in the last election, Acorn and the Obama administration.

It should of stated that Obama stole the election.

Furthermore the military was behind Bush all the way.

Obama is a thorn in their side.

the military was moist definitely not behind Bush all the way. Those who had differing opinions were simply shunted aside. You have to read history to know what it is.

Not so, striper. Bush’s relentless misuse of the military, while using them for political gain, and cutting their benefits and support in the field, had a strong impact on them. There are lots of military families (some related to me) who were Republicans, but saw what Bush was doing and condemned it.

I was in the military under Bush SR. and Clinton. I witnessed first hand what most of the military thought about Clinton and all the suffering we had to endure due to the cuts under Clinton.

I currently have family in the military. They were all behind McCain. My cousin that is in the Marines that is on his second tour of Iraq thought for sure McCain would of won.

Jesues Christ! ‘W’ didn’t Steal the 2000 Election! Gore lost because he lost his Tennessee, his claimed ‘Home State’ His Home State is Virginia, this is where he was Born. Had Gore won Tennessee, he would have been president from 2001-2005.

Do the math People.. Look up the Electoral Votes from the 2000 Race. Subtract 11 from ‘W’ and add 11 to Gore.. Bingo! Gore is President.. 11 happens to be Tennessee’s Electoral Votes as Tennessee has 9 Congresspersons and 2 Senators.

20,000 head of sheep and 40,000 goats would do MUCH more good in A’stan than 40,000 more troops from any nation - a lesson that, had it been put into effect following the Soviet withdrawl from the country, could have graphically stabilized the native economy or at least prevented the decline which brought insurgents / taliban / hard liners into prominence…

    Hearts and Minds indeed…
