   War is hell. Repeat and repeat. Go watch Band of Brothers, and any petty disagreements on Uclick fade. Americans can stand together. We just seem to have forgotten how. So lets hear it for our men and women in uniform! They deserve our best efforts while they are away.

   They do give medals “just for showing up.” The Purple Heart is different, but it’s also the medal that causes the most arguments over who “deserves” it. Not that a few company cooks haven’t received bronze stars now and again. Awards at any level tend to contain a certain BS factor that has to be figured in.
