   Know someone who was pretty levelheaded guy until the company installed a computer/GPS system for the purpose of efficiency. He started listening to talk radio on line. You should hear his prognosis for America now !

   bigg3469. CB? CB has been dead for yonks. And as for computers in trucks, There is an industry wide system that allows dispatchers to text assignments to PARKED trucks. It also tracks his location , speed, deviations from assigned routes.My son’s rig had a built in laptop desk in the sleeping area as well as hookup for the minifridges sold at Wal-Mart. Had a microwave too! I doubt that many truckers are multi tasking, they are too busy dodging “4 wheelers”.

   Yeah, these systems are set up so that the driver cannot do those types of things while the truck is in motion. Do some research, dude.
