    And what’s with the First Amendment garbage anyway? This is a private contest she voluntarily signed up for. She signed a contract with certain rules. She’s not being arrested for her views, and this isn’t a public election. They can toss her out on her ear if they don’t like what she says, and it’s still not a violation of her First Amendment rights.

    I think that is the point, otherwise all she is a person who exercised her right to say what she wants and experienced the corrollary to that which is that sometimes free speech carries consequences.

    Trump made the correct decision and I am glad that woman stood up for herself.

    If these pagents don’t want contestants who espouse views different from what they want espoused, all they have to do is screen them out (kind of like what you could do as an employer, and screen out your applicants based on their beliefs)

    Oh wait, that’s illegal.
