   Nothin’ but a bully who can’t even deal with debate on his own show – he has to have an audience full of suck-ups. I so enjoyed the time years ago when he appeared on Letterman, who gently and politely took him apart. Rush was spouting some nonsense about Hillary’s looks (like that matters), and Dave said “because of course you are such an outstanding example of American manhood.”

   Corrosive…believe or not, we do have some Progressive talk radio shows on the air. Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow, Randi Rhodes, Stephanie Miller, Mike Malloy…and the guy I spend most of my time listening to, Ed Schultz.

    Talk radio is the one media source that the left doesn’t control, so it must be stopped. I’m surprised the “fairness doctrine” has not already been introduced. When it happens, we will be like all other dictatorships where the media is controlled by the central government and the protestors are run over by tanks. Can anyone say “1984”? It is just coming 25 years late. We already have “Thought Police” with the words we are not allowed to use. Next will be the “Opinion Police”. Our grandkids may never know what real freedom was really like. But they probably won’t care as long as the nanny-state is giving them stuff they didn’t earn. End of sermon.

    I thought it was the Republicans who thought we shouldn’t see certain things or hear certain things. Why, it was just a few hours ago that I read the word “socialist” when it comes to certain opinions of the left. It’s only been a few more hours since I read that “the left is the real enemy of America”. And it was just the other day that I read that “we need to stop the Left Wing of the Democrat Party”.

    What say you about these people, gbrucewilson and NoFearPup? Are they scared of liberals?

    nofearpup, i don’t think Dems are afraid of talk show host/performance artist RushL; but personally I’m afraid of those who listen and cheer him on cuz they like to wallow in ignorance and they vote
