The dems should be really proud to have Franken. He is such an open minded guy. The only downside is CSPAN will have to put in a 5 second delay when he is speaking.

Makes the gov of Illinois sound like a choir boy…he is suppose to be a comedian, now he will be a senator…same thing right?

Unlikely that Franken would be worse than Fred Thompson or Ronald Reagan. At least he can write!

I’m sure it takes courage to reveal your mind in the way cartoonists do. People can see immediately how petite or bigotted you are. Minnesota runs a close election and recount in the best possible way, and it gets pictured as a mound of garbage. Would it be a mound of garbage if Coleman was 200 votes ahead? It compares an election to an appointment as if they were the same thing. Is that right? The fact is that the election was fair and the appointment was legal. Those basic truths destroy this cartoon and reveal a dishonest mind.

Equating Al Franken with Blago is a very low blow. Besides, anyone following the race has heard about the stupid decision to let each campaign decide if the remaining absentee votes are valid or not. Surprise Surprise, Coleman said 90% of Franken’s weren’t, without having to qualify their assertion.

Franken will make one hell of a better Minnesota Senator than Coleman, who was a Democrat first, before he became a Bush toady.

From the very start, Franken supported recounting all the votes. Not Coleman.

I guess Danziger has to go back on that 50 vote thing now.
