McCain feels she needs to be “punished”. I could care less of what she said. The worst part is I know I could come up with talking points that would not only defend her but showcase her views as simply exaggerated statements from a corporate CEO who knows oh to well the hardships of the business world.
By the time I got dressing up this fiasco, she would be see as strong independent woman with a maverick streak and a penchant for telling it how it is. Lets wee how McCain’s Campaign dealt with it instead.http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/09/17/paul-begala-rips-carly-fiorina/
Carley is John McCain’s Chief Economic Adviser! What a time to call her incompetent! She OK’s all of his economic policies! Oh, what a twit! Calling his own economics guru an incompetent on the same day wall street collapses!

“Crook and Liars” is a great name for a show on MSNBC (the Obama network). Have you seen Carley’s full comment? She was asked if Palin could run a large corp and replied, “No, and neither could Obama, McCain or Biden”. The bit about Obama and Biden was not a clarification. It was part of the original comment. The left wing media always takes the part of a statement they want and edits out the rest. BTW, I sort of agree with her. Although Palin would be a better CEO than the other three who have had no experience running anything “except their mouths”.

Yeah, the ones we agree with are always more objective…
A good reporter should always aim at maximum objectivity but pristine, flawless objectivity doesn’t exist. The reporter or commentator is also a citizen who has its own opinions. He should leave them at the door, but it’s easier to say than to do, too bad. On the other hand, the cool thing about having many medias controlled by different powers (Rupert Murdoch cant and shouldn’t have it all) is that you get many points of wiew. You watch them all and seek the truth yourself somewhere in between.
NBC is pro-democrat, FOX is pro-republican. Make your own opinions examining both points. Don’t expect the news to tell you what to think (it’s the worst thing you could do to democracy). You have to build your own opinion, not recycle the newscaster’s.

gbrucewilson, as someone who is “just observing”, I have a couple of things (the 2nd one is why I am really posting):
The “Crooks and Liars” dig is appropriate, but you are technically incorrect in your “full comment” statement. Fiorina was asked the Palin & CEO question twice. The first time she responded only regarding Palin. It was the 2nd time that she responded when she also included McCain, Obama and Biden. It was not (as you assert) part of the “original” comment.
The thing, however, that really puzzles me is your “sort of agree” statement. Why is it that Palin seems to be lauded so much by so many people, to the point that even you diminish the other three in comparison? What makes her a “better CEO than the other three who have had no experience running anything ‘except their mouths’.”? I don’t get it… What makes her a “better CEO”? If it’s because she’s Governor, then there are 49 other current Governors and a few hundred former Governors that should also be included in this statement. What other reason could you have for making the statement? Like I said, I just don’t get it…

I am not surprised at what Carla Carleton Sneed Fiorina (aka: Carly) could say or do…
I saw her at Lucent….

Fiorina is right. None of these guys have experience remotely resembling being a CEO – and I’m an expert on appraising executives – though some of them certainly have baseline abilities to influence that would be useful in such a position given time and development.

No, she didn’t say none of them could run a corporation she specifically added neither Obama nor Biden could run a corporation. if you found room to use McCain’s name I am so surprised you couldn’t find the room to use Obama’s. No, there is no MSM bias.
