   I’m related to teachers and former teachers. They need that vacation after ten months of putting up with the kids.

   … and with the mindless administrators and the belligerent teachers union and the other teachers not even smart enough to teach elementary school. And that’s in a GOOD school district!

   I’m reminded of my “Middle School”. The WORST teacher I had in the 6th grade, a “social studies” teacher, was such a total B****, I hated every moment I was ever in her class. When I came back for the 7th grade, I was relieved to learn she’d gotten a “promotion” to administration. Never had to deal with her again, at least not as a teacher.

   I’m sorry but I just HAVE to say this because nobody else wants to. This comic strip is becoming pretty lame. I haven’t laughed out loud at anything in this strip for ages and I’ve been a fan for a long time.That’s very frustrating because this is the only comic we have representing us and it’s just not good enough.

   Lately it just seems the story lines are really, really drab. And why is it not in color anymore? Please spice things up a bit. Give Jane a cute girlfriend. Get her cool job or put her in some interesting scenarios. Comment on current affairs. But most importantly, it’s a comic – for goodness sake make us laugh!!
