When you’re a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
When you have a gun, everyone looks like a target.

There has always been a right to defend yourself. The tragic idiocy of the Stand Your Ground laws is that they allow you to chase some one down and kill them to “defend yourself” even when you had the option of walking away. Civilization has always called that “murder” before.

Martin came back to beat Zimmerman. The only thing that was on trial were the last moments of Martin’s life, during those moments he was beating GZ and GZ being in fear for his life, shot him.
    .
Zimmerman’s stupidity wasn’t on trila, if it was it would be 5 star guilty.

Jack Ohman and others who only see one side of this issue have never been on the ground with someone bigger, stronger, and younger than they are beating them in the face, breaking their nose. Not to mention that Trayvon was high at the time.

I don’t feel any sympathy for Zimmerman; he chased down someone who wasn’t doing ANYTHING WRONG, had the tables turned on him, got some bumps and bruises, and killed the kid when he could have just as easily wounded him.
He was an idiot, but he walks away while some poor kid is dead.
And Trayvon was high on weed, which does not make you more aggressive, but rather less so (ask any cop).
The jury said Zimmerman was “not guilty,” but don’t act like he was some brave dude when in reality he’s just a pathetic cowardly buffoon.

“Stand your ground” when it’s the ground you OWN is one thing. When states expand it to outside the boundaries of personal ownership and personal safety, it goes too far.

“Give an idiot a gun week” has been in the news for months now, and should be a hint that idiots shouldn’t be considered defending themselves, when they initiate confrontation.

Give me a break, you act like Martin was little mister innocent. He was a drug dealing drug using criminal. He was kicked out of school for drugs, he tried to beat a man to death. Zimmerman should have done things differently but never the less Martin was no saint. I’m sick of the media using a little boy school photo instead of the current one that showed the real Martin. He wasn’t a nice person.
Obama, Eric Holder and Al Sharpton had no business sticking their two cents in either.

How many liberal cartoonists can make the same cartoon?
