My area got flooded and we worked together to rebuild. The government promised money but the local government kept it all. Depend on yourself, not the government for handouts.

And what did you do about the local government? It’s anti-government sentiment like yours (not to mention ignorance) that keeps the corrupt in government.

Mr. Ima said, “My area got flooded and we worked together to rebuild…… Depend on yourself….”

HA! So you get the benefits of “working together” and then counsel others to “depend on themselves.”

Why can’t we work together also?

Lol. That is a great "GOP Moment”.

“I’ve been on food stamps and welfare, did anyone help me out? No.”

Typical Conservative hypocrisy. Raging at “socialist handouts to the Taker Nation” while reaching into the mailbox to grab their redistributed-from-taxpayer socialist retirement entitlement.

Thanks for pointing that out. Otherwise the cartoon didn’t make a lick of sense to me!

I’ve been to Long Island, Staten Island and up and down the Jersey Shore, I have NEVER seen a telephone pole out to sea like that!
