Since I have met and read too many people who feel this is the direction our country is going under the Democrats, I don’t find this helpful or funny. it feeds the paranoia and downright grief some republicans are feeling. I cannot imagine any of the democrats in my circle of friends who would support any facsimile of this cartoon. While I support healthcare, High Speed Rail, and we give to public radio during the fund raising events, reeducation camps remind me of stories coming from Vietnam after the fall of Saigon. The very idea of this kind of ‘camp’ is offensive to the American ideal.

God forbid we have access to a viable alternative to the now inconvenient air travel, affordable health care, and non-partisan commercial free radio. It’s an absolute nightmare to even think about such things.

This week financial news organization CNBC gave some mainstream attention to the largest money laundering and racketeering lawsuit in United States History, in which “Banksters” and their U.S. racketeering partners are being accused of laundering of 43 trillion dollars worth of ill gotten gains.

The lawsuit is said to involve officials located in the highest offices of government and the financial sector.

Since this information was surprisingly revealed by the mainstream news organization there has been a very suspicious and deadly fallout at the CNBC headquarters.

Within hours the original page for the article was taken down, and CNBC senior vice president Kevin Krim received news that his children were killed under very suspicious circumstances.

I met a lady at a store and she was actually crying over the results of the election. There are people who really feel this is the end of life as they know it.
It also doesn’t help that I don’t trust Democrats much more than I do Republicans. If given a super majority, I do worry about one of the parties going Hugo Chavez on us. Chavez used his super majority to change election laws, nationalize businesses, redistribute property, etc.
The left fears republican fascism, and don’t forget Mussolini said fascism should be called corporatism. The right fears socialism, though what they call socialism is better defined as communism.
In the center, there is a lot less fear.
If I appear tense, it is because I am an independent. I am also a Teddy Roosevelt progressive as I understand him. I take seriously the concerns of my neighbors.
The, as Dredpiratrobrt put it, horsepoop I inflict on you folks is an earnest effort to find common ground and start a sincere and respectful debate.
Until I find a better spot, I’ll practice here and a couple of other spots.
Huffington Post is friendlier, but you don’t learn anything if you only talk to like minded people.
So…not tense. Just trying to be thoughtful, most of the time.
Also, very bored. The doctor won’t let me bend over or pick up more than 10lbs, and I’m bored. Does it show?

You know, I have to believe somewhere there exists a “what if Romney won” political cartoon in this vein, where Democrats are immediately declared enemies of the state to be shot on sight, preferably by Sarah Palin from a helicopter.
Also, shouldn’t that sign over the entrance read “Espanol solamente”? (And no, I’m not going to hunt down the tilde-n in Character Map.)
