Obama is the most athletic president the US has ever had. He could take ’em.

Actually, the problem was NOT using zingers and one-liners, with an audience with the attention span of gnats.

Even Zingers won’t help a president who can’t run his re-election campaign off his own record. Listening to him, you would swear he wasn’t the incumbent candidate….

I suspect you mean Gerald Ford, because he tripped a couple of times when he was president. But another possibility is Theodore Roosevelt, who was a good boxer.

I think it was Nixon. I can just see him pole-vaulting over his useless interns and aides to get at the all-you-can -eat buffet line…

It definitely wasn’t Nixon. It took him five tries to produce the 18 1/2 minute gap. He couldn’t drive. Tape recorders in those days made you press two keys simultaneously and Nixon couldn’t cope with it.

His aides found teeth marks on the child-proof cap on the bottle containing his prescription. Nixon couldn’t get it open and got a little frustrated…
