Another politico goes up in flames because of an ego/female problem. This is one failing that NEITHER SIDE has an exclusive on. If you can’t keep it in your pants, or in the closet, politics is a dangerous arena, especially in such a puritanical and hypocritical society.

Ah the eternal hot air of the entire gore family senators all and when he loses the prez. seat? Try to bring down the country and make a profit off it with CAP AND TAX.

    Follow the money.

Um…there’s a lot of reasons to doubt the accusation, if that’s what you’re referring to - a newspaper went after aggressively for a YEAR several years ago, and decided it wasn’t publishable. (It was, for the record, a relatively conservative paper. They wanted this story.)

Well, when you have a police report and a possible civil suit the facts don’t matter. Maybe he’ll fade away and the creditable scientist will take the lead in the climate debate.

The “Oregonian” where Jack works, has indeed leaned right (publishers) for a long time, but is accused by those on the “right” (okay, well, the nut cases) to be too liberal.

The police investigation, not just the cops, found no grounds for charges. As to the $ involved in the transaction, I’ve used a lot of LMTs and never paid that much.

ALSO– massage therapy is the ONLY thing that truly helps my fibromyalgia symptoms. LMTs are NOT in the “oldest profession”, which isn’t actually prostitution,

but politics, oh wait, that IS the SAME profession today. (very, very, sadly, journalism has also fallen to the same level.)

The Conservatives have a simple belief system: If a Republican does something wrong it is his (it’s always a his) fault, and his fault alone.

If a Liberial or DEM does something wrong then it’s proof that all of his (and, yes it is always a his) beliefs and policies are wrong, and it also means that the Liberials are wrong.

Ken, so you are implying that all women, regardless of their political preference, are perfect intellectually and frigid sexually?

LOCO - No it’s just that we men seem to prefer leaders that are men (After 50,000 years you would think we would learn, but we haven’t) so it harder for women to get into positions of power, also women don’t have that thing hanging between their legs that we do that makes us do really, (and I know of what I speak) really stupid things.

It is funny, howie, that Ken does the very thing he say republicans do but can’t bring himself to admit the truth when it is pointed out.

So Ken, why haven’t we heard about this woman and her obvious lack in the knowledge of US geography? I heard the gaff but didn’t hear her come back and say she “misspoke”. Yeah, mis spoke, you betcha.

And I have heard a lot of “oh, I just mis-spoke” coming from the left. Just sayin’

Still, I think I agree with the second post about men and the propensity to let the “little” head do our thinking. ;0))

I get very suspicious about complaints of sexual misconduct filed years later. To me Gore is innocent until proven, beyond a reasonable doubt, to be guilty.

2/3 of Americans cannot name one single US supreme Court Justice. Does it surprise anyone that an elected representative somewhere does not know geography?

The problem is if that representative is of the opposite party it proves all of them are incompetent rather than realizing our politicians are not exactly the best and the brightest.

Kennedy, Stevens, Roberts, Scalia, Thomas, Alito, Ginsburg, Sotomayor………Quick who did I leave out?

Yeah, you’re right Libertarian. Most people only know the ones in the news a lot or none at all. But see, you don’t have to know everything, just where to find it. I would think that before you started to proselytize about another states legal stand, you would research what you were talking about. To me, that would mean the physical location of the topic state. You know, look at a map.

I know, I’m being condescending (shrugs). But really, people actually elected her to represent their interests? I just don’t get it.

Ahab, have been meaning to get back to tai chi/yoga– yep it helps. It does NOT help that my dachshund insists on “helping” me, and now our new cat just loves to be underfoot as well! That scream when she gets stepped on REALLY breaks the “tranquility element”!!
