Ohman, this toon is just stupid. Goldman Sachs made a profit and can NOW start paying back the taxpayers. What’s the problem with that?

nomad, did you mean “and can NOW start” or did you mean “and can NOT start”?

    Hasty, uh. I dunno, you?
I wanted to clarify what nomad meant without assuming it was just a typo.

OK! Jack’s back on with team O! Rahm finally let his recent slip go.

On the down-side here at the Oregonian we’re using Sotomeyer type jurisprudence and Ohman didn’t do well in the adjusted scores. that prize he won with Katie Couric didn’t help after all.

Here his replacement is Michael Ramirez. It’s one of those odd cases where affirmative action actually delivers.

Don’t know what I like better: the seal, the cash-snowman or the crazy look on the face of the fella in the lower-right.

“Goldman Sachs made a profit and can not start paying back the taxpayers”

Thank you nomad, I can now understand the world of big business much better. :P

You see, folks, they were given public money, made a profit and are somehow able to not start paying back the taxpayers. Oh, and they also gave out billions of dollars in bonuses, will keep their jobs and not go to prison. No wonder they’re crazy with joy, that must be businessman’s wet dream!
