I was wondering if someone would address McNamara’s death.

^^I don’t get it.
A great Lib genius passes away un-lamented, with an awkward silence even…

Shakey, as usual a day late and a dollar short. The scene is “carpet bombing” and unless you’ve seen one there’s no explanation to clarify it’s uslessess and damages, to both sides. It was one of McN’s trade marks. Make up all the facts you want but the man was not lib nor great.

Steadfast, God’s blessings to you! We know that now (about carpet bombing and the limited potential of police actions), but, I’m sure McNamara had the ear of all the “right” people in his day…and now he’s thrown away like, as Lalas said, a “douche”. We must “own” our mistakes if we are going to learn from them, I think.

who’s Shakey? who’s Steadfast?

NFP does that include learning our mistakes in Iraq… namely the being-there-in-the-first-place-
and-getting-ripped-off-for-billions-
every-day lesson?

BCS, haven’t you been introduced to the indefatigable “down-to-earth” and tireless , Humphries? I would make a post and Humph would…”season” it…(That’s my experience with, Humphries, often ). He was one of the first to respond to my salient posts…See what you caused, Humphries?

Yep, he calls me “Shakey Pup.” I think he’s implying I’m a FearfulPup.
