The American Education System has been out of the Top 10 list for over a Decade & at the rate it’s going it’ll be a the bottom of the barrel within a Century, provided America still exists.

No.. the problem is they are told you are “young Republicans”. Things would be a lot better if they were “Americans” first. The bickering between the two parties is what is bringing your country to its knees.

The Bible may be taught, provided it is as literature, you are allowed to pray in school-just can’t be a mandatory group prayer recited over the P.A., and the Founding Fathers did not spout off on religion, many were Deists, atheists or agnostics who felt that religion was a private and personal thing that government cannot and should not be involved in.

Not quite. A few were “nondenominational” and there were a couple of atheists to be sure.
    But John Adams said:

It is the duty of all men in society, publicly, and at stated seasons, to worship the SUPREME BEING, the great Creator and Preserver of the universe. And no subject shall be hurt, molested, or restrained, in his person, liberty, or estate, for worshipping GOD in the manner most agreeable to the dictates of his own conscience; or for his religious profession or sentiments; provided he doth not disturb the public peace, or obstruct others in their religious worship.

And Sam Adams said, affirming the statement of the Declaration that we are “endowed by our Creator” with certain rights:
The right to freedom being the gift of God Almighty, it is not in the power of man to alienate this gift and voluntarily become a slave… These may be best understood by reading and carefully studying the institutes of the great Law Giver and Head of the Christian Church, which are to be found clearly written and promulgated in the New Testament.

    And also
In the supposed state of nature, all men are equally bound by the laws of nature, or to speak more properly, the laws of the Creator. They are imprinted by the finger of God on the heart of man. Thou shall do no injury to thy neighbor, is the voice of nature and reason, and it is confirmed by written revelation.

And of course George Washington said:
It is impossible to govern the world without God and the Bible. Of all the dispositions and habits that lead to political prosperity, our religion and morality are the indispensable supporters. Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that our national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.

I understand a lot of those same Founders clung bitterly to their guns as well.
