How the heck do you get a search warrant to search the guy’s house when you don’t know the address??? Oh, wait, you freakin’ don’t! Come on, this one was really stupid.

That’s for sure. You’d think the cops, of all people would be able to find out someone’s address.

Just knock on doors until some hottie answers, and stripsearch her to be sure.

The premise of a search warrant without a known address is a bit silly – but heck, this is a comic strip, chill out.

One of the things I ran into while delivering papers is the fact that not all houses have numbers that are visible from the street.
The city I live in has a city ordinance which literally requires that all houses have a number which can be seen at all hours, but I serviced a neighborhood where there were perhaps one or two listed addresses per block.
Making matters worse, some of the houses were on irregularly-sized lots made by taking all or part of another lot. In this town, when that happens the house number that would have gone to the house whose lot was taken is simply skipped, such that you can have 1408 _____ St. sitting right next to 1404 due to the lot for what would have been 1406 having been carved up to split between the two.

No garbage can in this Region is probable cause. We have been so good a recycling and composting that the dumps are losing money, so they implemented a 2 dollar dumping fee and want to pick up the garbage every two weeks. Time to get rid of the counselors.

@Darren Blair Unless you’re using your symbol because you like it, and don’t want my busybody input, you can use < br > < br > without any spacing between the < >s and the br’s .

You don’t need to prepare a comment and then cut and paste to here.

It works being directly typed in as part of your text in your Gocomics comment box.

    And on today’s strip…

I would consider it a miracle if the prisons in Inspector Danger’s world ever saw any use.

With an idiot like him on the job the criminals could do anything they wish.

In our village, one can choose whether one wants to have garbage cleaned every week or twice a month. We recycle enough to take the 2x month (actually could do 1x month but it is not allowed for hygienic reasons), so 2-3 Thursdays a month our garbage can is not out although neighbour’s is.
