Just like the ones I read as a kid! Thanks, Werner. Don’t pay attention to those verdammeten haters.

The guy with the cellphone is “the red herring”. Talking on a cellphone most people may use both hands. But how about the yo-yo-player?

Why is Herr Inspektor Danger always at hand moments after a murder? Is he following the victim? If so, why doesn’t he ever manage to prevent the crime?

It could be any of the suspects. So, I guess Danger got the old phone book out. Yes I am pouting, I thought it was #1 because the victim is still wearing his golf spike shoes.

My first thought was #3 because he’s the only one whose alibi can be checked. The cell phone leaves a record of the calls made.

How do you see a left handed used the rake?

A left-handed rake pattern? You have got to be kidding. It was the golfer. He’s used to raking away his footprints from all the time he’s spent in the sand trap!

Good observation. They must have beaten a confession out of the kid to conform with Danger’s conclusion.

Very good question! And I’m wondering why the rake pattern goes across the path rather than along it. The perp must have been standing in the grass along the path to get that pattern; and then wouldn’t need to rake it at all.

The golfer should have been the killer. As was already pointed out, the victim was wearing golf spikes. The trap was the source of the rake. I mean, how often do you find a rake hanging around??
