This was good. It was easy to figure out, but I had to spend enough time checking all the detail.

Actually, it is a number of people that are quick-change artists. They stay in the same spot, doing the same thing, only their clothes and appearance has changed.

What’s even more amazing is that the man with the baby stroller had a sex change and is now a woman! It happened during those same few minutes…

The patrons that switched tables at the Cafe’ are much more suspicious.

You’re right. It is quite strange to judge a book by its cover.

Problem is many people remain the same, just changing particulars, woman’s coat color, baby carriage at same place but different person, patron at cafe holding menu loses beard and glasses, policeman loses uniform.

It is common practice in surveillance to have teams trade off or change particulars so as to not be noticed. The one looking in the bookstore window is therefor one of the least suspicious!

If he’s being watched 24/7 wouldn’t the spies have to change assignments for meals, sleep and bathroom breaks? The man at the bookstore is the only one who isn’t a spy.

It would have helped if he’d actually changed some characters. It looks like they all just changed costumes.
