I was thinking motorcycle with a sidecar, but thought the tires would be the same size.

Better stripsearch the blonde, just to be sure.

Suspect three didn’t have a car either, why couldn’t he be the suspect?
I agree that the blonde should be stripsearched …just to be sure.

I think the Volvo 560 is this Indiana Jones sidecar:

Maybe just me, but if I were going to do a hit-and-run murder, a motorcycle with a sidecar wouldn’t be my first choice. Too much danger to me, personally on that.

About the wheel differences: That is to be expected, the heavier, wider tires are on the bike itself while the smaller tire is on the sidecar.

Smart cars have different front and rear sizes, not that it would be the answer to this crime.
On a side note, it’s nice to see the entire crime reviewed all-in-one shot, instead of being spread out over the week — although this particular layout of the responses from the suspects would not be conducive to breaking the responses up…

A motorcycle with a side car will have three different tires. The steer tire will be over-ridden by the larger drive tire so it might not be readily noticeable, the side car has a smaller wheel— not much larger than a bicycle tire.

Smart cars have two different sizes? Just a guess, the front is smaller than the rear? It won’t be a smaller tire on one side than the other,I think.

Just because suspect #3 does not own a car does not mean he doesn’t own any vehicle. like a truck or motocycle

Seems if I were planning a murder, I’d choose some other weapon. A sidecar motorcycle leaves too many chances for me to get hurt when the machine flips— which it just might, it was the sidecar that hit the victim. Those things aren’t all that stable and when the sidecar ran over the victim there was an excellent chance the machine could flip onto the other side.

I though we were going to see a daily strip. What happen to that idea?

This one wasn’t bad. I recall measuring the track, the distance between tires, then pulling up specs online to narrow down the choices. Hummer would be a lot wider than a VW beetle, to be sure. Eliminate several suspects right away.
