Exactly. And that’s why, in the second panel, he lowered his estimate to 119 MPH

Apparently you never met my professors. One of them can ride at 135 mph without even a helmet or bandanna.

And my old mates in college could do that too. They took it up to 160 on the open freeway. I was there.

The more obvious thing is that at 119 mph, the driver would be pulp. the forces involved are collosal!

Because the visor couldn´t have been knocked open after the crash? Or for that matter who could have the visor down with a nose like that.

Ok, this one is crap! After a crash at that speed the visor probably wouldn’t be attached to the helmet!

After a crash at that speed (or even just enough to wreck the cruiser the way it’s shown), it’s a wonder his head is still attached to his shoulders!
(I’ve seen pictures of high-speed motorcycle accidents. Those forces do some pretty horrible things to the human body.)

This is a bad one for a million reasons. One, the trooper’s plan is retarded. Did he think no one would find out what his relation to the biker was? Moronic. Then, a real trooper would open the visor after the crash (let’s just ignore the fact that the victim looks pretty good for a 119mph crash). And last, the victim would have crashed into the windscreen. That was what I thought this was about.

Can radar tell the speed when the car is also moving?

Of course the visor could’ve flipped up upon impact. This was a lame 1. tsk tsk tsk …

The motorcycle went under the car, indicating that it laid down before impact, and yet the body apparently flew over the car. That makes no sense, either.

Troopers don’t use their radar guns while their car is in motion. And if he did, he would have to subtract his speed from the reading to get the bikers real speed in a head-on collision.

And if he did hit at 120 he would be jelly.

Of course it’s murder. The bike is pratically under the left front tire of the car and the biker is supposedly going to end up behind the car after an accident like that? Not only is he behind the car, he’s much closer to the right side of the road, suggesting he was thrown more on the right side of the car though he should be closer to the left side of the road. And I don’t believe he ended up on the right side from hitting the windshield as their is no damage to the windshield. In fact at the two speeds claimed the cop car should show more damage and the biker would have slammed into the windshield, damaging it. The visor could have come up in the accident and would have been likely to be peeled off. And the cop claims the biker was doing 120 MPH but then immediately changes his story to exactly 119.
