what the hell? how do we know know what car doesn’t have a jack? and why do the wheels look like they came off Fred Flintstone’s car.

You aren’t meant to solve these things. Just be dumbfounded by the sheer idiocy :p

I thought we were supposed to be able to figure it out by the clues. The only way to figure this one out would have been to (a) know that the thief used his own jack and (b) to be able to look in each car’s tool kit to see which one is missing the jack. In the meantime, I have some questions for the tire inventor.

This is lame. I was looking to see which car had a bad tire.

And on top of all that, 28 minutes to amass at least 5 cars? Wouldn’t that require warrants? This strip never surprises me with its stupidity.

I don’t get it. Guess I just go with it…whatever “it” is.

Here’s an alternate solution: if it was dark and with the headlights of the Novox in that position, there is no way Baldy could have made out anything from the license plate at all, so he just made something up. In fact it was meant to be a (new) case of insurance fraud spolit by Danger’s untimely appearance.

I think I may have to edit this off my list. I’m a college graduate and love mysteries and puzzles, but these are just unbelievably stupid.

If his new tyre is so great, how come he was changing it? And I don’t see an abandoned tyre jack lying on the road either.

He wasn’t changing the tyre — the thief was trying to steal it. The abandoned jack is not lying in the road, it’s still holding up the car after the thief went on the lam.
