This makes little sense. I keep my lamp on my right side and my cell phone beneath it.

This is a little too simplistic…reminds me of those Disney ones where Mickey Mouse is the detective.
(What? I have a kid sister.)

I guessed the witness purely because of the lack of any other characters, or real evidence. Guess police work isn’t that hard at all…

I’m right handed and my phone is the left side of my desk at work. Also according to Google nearly 90% of people are right handed.

There had better be more evidence then this. After a couple of hours on the firing range and not hitting a thing a sergeant came over and looked at my position. I was shooting right handed right eye, it turns out I am right handed left eye dominant so I needed to shot with my left hand. I still write with my right. Started to shot sniper once I switched hands.

This is VERY stupid! I’M right handed, and my phone is on the left side of my desk! Does that mean that I could be the killer?! This strip is retarded! And anyone who defends it is a moron! And what about “But who cares? I happen to know who the killer is!” REALLY? If there is no physical evidence linking the suspect to the murder, then that’s that—your GUT is not enough to get a conviction! “B-But there’s a disclaimer!” So we are to suspend our disbelief so this idiot can continue to make this stupid strip?! And THEN you wonder why we like to strip search the women—that is the ONLY redeeming quality this strip has to offer, and that’s only SOMETIMES. So all you people chuckling and saying “These are just like when I was a kid!”, I’ve got some advice for you—grow up!

If he has to take notes while talking on the phone, he would use his left for the phone. also, since the phones plug in close to each other, his phone wouldn’t reach the other side of the desk unless he added some cord.

He should have shown a few pencils on the left side, one positioned on the left side of a sheet of paper.

He could have shown the matching glove sticking out of a pocket

I keep my phone on my right so I can hold the phone comfortably while writing the messages. It’s one of the few times I can make my right hand useful.

Most people can use a lamp with either hand, also.

Besides, the glove has four fingers and the supposed killer has only three.

Most right handed people use the phone on the left ear. That lets you write as you talk.
